Sarah Pennock
Sarah Pennock is an addiction psychologist and psychotherapist, and an attachment-based therapist.
Following three years of specialist training in Addiction Psychology, she completed a three year Post Graduate Diploma in Attachment-Based Therapy. Alongside workshop facilitation and occasional guest teaching, Sarah runs a busy private practice in Marylebone, London. Her working style integrates:
- psychodynamic theories of personality development (Attachment)
- cognitive approaches to decision making (CBT)
- mentalisation
- self-observation
Sarah facilitates workshops for various training organisations on many aspects of attachment or addiction, she is a contributing author for ‘Attachment, Relationships and Food’ (ed. Linda Cundy, Routledge 2021), and consults as a Resilience Coach for Executive level, fostering secure communication in senior leadership through an attachment lens.
Sarah is a registered with and accredited by the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP).
