Liz Martins

Liz Martins is a Certified IFS Therapist, supervisor and Lead Trainer and Approved Clinical Consultant with the IFS Institute (Illinois, USA). She is based in Bath and works online throughout the UK and internationally.

IFS is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people come into relationship with wounded and protective parts of themselves to bring healing and develop internal secure attachments.

Liz is also Certified as an Advanced Sensorimotor Psychotherapist and trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and Attachment-Focused EMDR.

Her original training was a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling. She also has a Diploma in Supervision and a social work qualification, as well as an MSc in Leadership and Organisation with Public Services. She is also a qualified coach.

During her career, Liz has worked as a social worker, therapist, supervisor, organisational and group facilitator, mentor and trainer. She is also trained in Somatic Trauma Therapy, the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Lifespan Integration, Brainspotting, and Family Constellations.
