Jeff Lane

Jeff Lane has been working as a therapist, supervisor and consultant since 1992. For 20 years he taught counselling skills in Hampshire, and is a founder tutor of The Centre for Gestalt in Organisations training programme.

Jeff is committed to anti-discriminatory and gay affirmative practice and celebrates and support diversity in himself and others.

He has worked in a variety of settings, including with Southampton Health Care Trust, The Discovery Project (working in schools in the Paulsgrove area of Portsmouth), and residential care homes for physically and mentally disabled adults. He currently works as a Family Mediator in Portsmouth, alongside his own private practice.

For 5 years he ran an on-going Men’s Therapy Group, and is currently researching material for a book entitled ‘Celebrating Manhood’.

Jeff enjoys working creatively and delights in supporting creative expression in others especially counsellors and therapists. He is a keen outdoors person and enjoys walking, swimming, farm work, tending his allotment and spending time with his over indulged cats. He also enjoys organising and promoting live music and comedy events around the South Coast.
